The Victoria Iyabode Olugbode (VIO) Foundation draws its ethos from the professional Nursing experience of Mrs Victoria Iyabode Olugbode who served diligently in England and Nigeria over a period spanning 30 years, caring for people of all diverse backgrounds.
Her personality, her fundamental essence and her deep humanity resonated with the noble profession of selfless giving. She was also a person of diverse talents as she showed her unique giftings in devout service to God, in successfully running several family-based small and medium scale enterprises as well as mentoring the young.
All through her life she cared diligently for her family, proudly raising 4 successful children, she served the community, the nation and the world. On 21st June 2020, she transited to eternal glory at the ripe old age of 83.
The lasting memories of her life are spangled with timeless human values and heartful treasures of service. Her death lives a gap we cannot fill but her life leaves treasures we must hold.
In perpetual remembrance of her life and values, the Victoria Iyabode Olugbode (VIO) Foundation was thus established.
