The Victoria Iyabode Olugbode (VIO) Foundation draws its ethos from the professional Nursing experience of Mrs Victoria Iyabode Olugbode who served diligently in England and Nigeria over a period spanning 30 years, caring for people of all diverse backgrounds.

Victoria Iyabode Olugbode (Nee Oke)

2 June 1937 - 21 June 2020

As a professional Nurse, Mrs Victoria Iyabode Olugbode served diligently in England and Nigeria over a period spanning 30 years, caring for people of all diverse backgrounds in the tradition of Florence Nigtingale, the founder of modern nursing. Her personality, her fundamental essence and her deep humanity resonated with the ethics of the noble profession of selfless giving. She was also a person of diverse talents as she showed her unique giftings in devout service to God, in successfully running several family-based small and medium scale enterprises as well as mentoring the young. All through her life she cared diligently for her family, proudly raising 4 successful children. She served the community, the nation and the world.
